What does the company Rost Systembaustoffe do?
We are specialized exclusively in the bound
construction of paved surfaces and for more than
20 years we have been engaged in optimising
products and construction methods.
Systematic construction materials – what does
that stand for?
For us, systematic construction materials means
to offer you products for bedding, joint, and
movement joint that are adjusted to one another.
Which products do we offer?
Our delivery programme comprises the products
for:

cement-bound bedding mortars which are drainable
and highly loadable

cement-bound jointing mortars which are highly
loadable and water-proof.

High quality and elastic connection and movement
joints and sealants
Where can these products be applied?
The systems have been designed for the bound
construction of highly loaded carriage ways.
There are differing demands according to load
and application.
With more than 20 types of cement-bound jointing
mortars we have the optimal product for nearly
all areas of application.
Which long term experiences are on hand?
More than 20 years ago, the first surfaces in
bound construction were jointed with PFM-System
which has meanwhile been advanced.
The total surface where this system has been
applied amounts to more than 300,000 m² in the
meantime.
How can the durability of the bound construction
be classified?
The set-up of the base layers and the paved
surface has to be construed according to the
actual loadings. The working loadings that occur
by thrust and shear forces are absorbed by the
friction locked connections between paving stone
and joint material.
Is detailed information on references available?
In our list of references you will find all
necessary information on construction and
loading of the surfaces.
How can the constant quality of the products be
guaranteed?
Product development
All products have been specially designed and
tested for the intended area of application.

A constant product quality is secured by modern
production lines with automatic dosing and
monitoring as well as by the ongoing internal
